BCBA Supervision Experience
Congratulations! You’ve taken the first step to your career as a BCBA. Whether you want to work in schools, own an ABA clinic, or focus on helping companies through the use of OBM, finding a supervision that can help you meet you goals is of the utmost importance.
What you can expect from Covenant
What Covenant expects from you
You will receive regular one on one meetings with a supervisor that has been selected for you based from your experience and desired field of interest. You will also receive the support from a team of BCBA’s that have backgrounds in research, school settings, adult service delivery, clinical directors and business owners. Each month you will get to learn from these professionals during your group supervision experience, as well as learn from other students from around the world. And the Covenant connection does not end with your supervision hours. We will provide assistance and guidance as you tackle the exam and transition into the field as a practicing BCBA!
Our goal is to provide you with a quality supervision and educational experience. To do this, you must meet the following requirements:
Technical
Reliable computer, internet access, welcome, and microphone
Gmail account
Device to record therapy sessions (phone is fine for this)
Clinical
Access to at least 1 client that would benefit from ABA services
Permission to record at least 15 minutes of your therapy session for some of your clients (We will provide you with this permission form)
Professional
Enrolled in an approved ABA masters or certification program
Eligible for supervision per the BACB Experience Standards
State Requirements: You are responsible for identifying if this program meets your state licensure and regulation requirements.
